La La Land Kind Cafe

A new cute cafe has opened in the Heights. La La Land Kind Cafe is a Austin favorite that is sure to be a Houston favorite in no time. I was excited to be invited to their pre-grand opening.

This cafe has an important motto, being in the business of kindness. Part of their mission is to focus on hiring adults who have aged out of foster care. They lived up to their motto. Upon ordering, you are greeted by smiles and kindness from the staff. They truly made my first visit so welcoming.

I was given a few matcha drinks and some of their famous avocado toast. All of my drinks that required milk were made with coconut milk since i’m allergic to cow milk.

The match drinks were the most gorgeous drinks i’ve seen in a while. They were so colorful and fun to watch as you swirled it to mix everything. I haven’t really liked matcha in the past but the butterfly matcha was light and refreshing.
