As a self-proclaimed mango expert, I recently had the pleasure of sampling some of Hui Lau Shan's most notable creations. One standout was the Pomelo & Mango with Sago—a refreshing drink with a harmonious blend of sweet, pureed mango, sweet pomelo (a citrus fruit from Southeast Asia) rich coconut ice cream and creamy coconut milk, crowned with delightful pearls of sago. Each sip was a refreshing burst of tropical flavor.

But the real showstopper was the mango mochi—a heavenly confection featuring a luscious slice of ripe mango encased in a soft, pillowy exterior and adorned with a generous sprinkle of shredded coconut. It was the perfect marriage of texture and taste, with the sweetness of the mango beautifully complemented by the subtle nuttiness of the coconut.

Of course, no visit to Hui Lau Shan would be complete without trying their iconic Mango Chewy Ball. This delightful concoction combines velvety mango puree with luscious chunks of fresh mango, chewy tapioca balls, and creamy mango ice cream, creating a symphony of flavors and textures that dance on your palate with every spoonful.
